NEW YORK (WABC) -- It's Election Night across America and the polls have now closed in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
Eyewitness News and ABC 7 are watching several key races across the Tri-State and ABC News has already called several key races.
Kathy Hochul is expected to win the New York gubernatorial race over her GOP challenger Bruce Blakeman, ABC News projects.
ABC News has also called the U.S. Senate race in New Jersey for incumbent Democrat Cory Booker.
There is also a governor's race in Connecticut where Democrat Ned Lamont is seeking a third term in office as he runs against Republican Ryan Fazio.
There are also several key House races to watch. Competitive races in some of New York's wealthiest congressional districts — the 3rd, 4th and 17th — could help decide whether Democrats regain control over the U.S. House.
The elections could ultimately determine how effective President Donald Trump's agenda is in the back half of his second term.
