How to use the portal

Our Block is a social platform for a specific city: all content (chat, events, people, classifieds) is shown only for your city. You pick a city once and we remember it — change it anytime via the city list.

Sections

🛵 Rentals

Motorbike & car rental in Pattaya and Phuket: Honda model catalog, daily/weekly/monthly rates, hotel delivery, pay on pickup. Leave a request — an operator will match a bike and get in touch. In other cities you can invite a local rental shop to partner up.

🏠 City wall

The city home page — everything fresh in one feed: news, events, classifieds, questions, deals and real estate. Between posts you'll see section cards: today's weather, exchange rates, new movies and what the chat is talking about. «Show more» expands the feed; the header shows a real photo of your city with live informers (weather, rates, air quality).

💬 Chat

A live city chat in real time. You can post without registering (as a guest). Rooms: Main, Dating and themed ones. Photos and video circles — for registered users. Tap the “N online” counter at the top to see who is here, address someone by name and invite friends with a link or a QR code. Purpose of the visit — a chip above the input box: mark why you came and neighbours will see the label next to your name; in the participants list you can filter people whose plan matches yours. The participants list also shows people who are away, with how long ago they were here — so a room that is quiet right now does not look empty.

📅 Today / Events

City events: concerts, exhibitions, plays, festivals. Today/Tomorrow/Week/Month filters. In big cities events are filled automatically; in any city you can add your own.

👥 People

Residents of your city. The live «who's really nearby» geo-search now lives in the «Radar» section; «Spark» — wink and start chatting in the Dating room. Location is requested only with your consent.

❓ City questions

Ask anything about the city — locals will answer. Vote for the best answers, mark a solution. Solved questions help others and reach Google search.

🏷 Deals

Venue promotions and coupons by category. Grab a coupon in one tap, save what interests you, build a route. For businesses — the «Add deal» button: create a shop (up to 5), publish promotions with photos, and see who saved them and who got codes.

📍 Places

A city venue directory by category (partly collected automatically). Found your business — tap «It's me» and manage the card; categories and admin are shared with «Deals».

🗣 People Talking

All city comments in one place — on news, events, deals and places. Chips switch sections; a click takes you straight into the discussion.

🏢 Real estate

Rent and sale of housing: a list and a map with prices. Anyone can post a listing; contact the author via Telegram.

📰 News

City news with full text right on the portal (no leaving for third-party sites). The archive of older items collapses, links stay alive.

📬 Digest by email

Subscribe to a weekly roundup of your city's news and events — the form is at the bottom of every page and in the «News»/«Today» sections. Subscription is optional, with confirmation via a link in the email; unsubscribe in one click from any email.

📡 Radar

“People you actually cross paths with” — not random profiles. Radar shows who's nearby and online, keeps a history of encounters (who and where you crossed paths), and scores compatibility by interests and goals (relationship, friendship, sport, networking, flirt 18+). A Like ❤️ is hidden — when it's mutual a private chat opens; “Wave 👋” is a public spark to the Dating room. The map shows density, not exact coordinates; points are randomly shifted (~500 m). “Be visible” keeps you on radar for another 15–120 minutes after you leave. Each field's privacy (contacts, age, occupation) is configurable: nobody / matches only / everyone. Location is used only with your consent; you can hide from radar with one tap.

🔥 Radar (PWA)

A separate radar app: install it on your phone from the home screen and it keeps your location fresh while open — so Radar shows who's nearby more accurately. Install via the flame button; location access is requested once and works only with your consent.

🚩 Reports & moderation

See spam, fraud, or abuse? Tap «Report» under a listing, deal, place, question, or comment — city moderators will review it. Severe content (drugs, violence, etc.) is hidden automatically. Repeat offenders get their posting restricted.

🎬 Cinema

Three parts: "Showtimes" — what's playing in your city today and for the week ahead (time, format, price; the film page groups the schedule by cinema — expand yours); "Film library" — a catalogue of unique films filtered by year and first letter; and each film's page with a shared discussion — one across every city it plays in. The "Invite" button sends a friend an invitation with a link to the film. Collected automatically.

📹 Webcams

Live cameras around your city: embankments, squares, roads, weather. Tap a card and the stream opens right on the site. If your city has no built-in cameras yet, the «More cameras» button finds available streams on external services.

🌤 Weather

A detailed forecast for your city: now, hourly and 7 days ahead, plus air quality. Quick access — tap the weather informer in the city header, or the «Weather» item in the menu and footer.

💱 Exchange rates

Exchange rates for major currencies, updated automatically every day. The dollar is shown as a large card, and tapping any currency opens a dynamics chart (month/year/5 years).

₿ Crypto

Top-10 cryptocurrencies: price, day/week/month changes, charts and basic technical analysis (RSI, SMA). One dataset for every city. Not investment advice.

🧮 Calculator

Anything-to-anything converter in the Finance hub: currencies, cryptocurrencies and stocks in any combination — dollars to rubles, bitcoin to stocks. Live rates, quick pairs and search across every asset.

🏦 Banks

A Russia-wide finance section (moigorod.ru/banks): live Moscow Exchange board and heatmap, the Bank of Russia key-rate chart, banking news and a discussion hub. Inside — the «Terminal»: a full-screen trader desk with quotes and charts. Exchange data is ~15 min delayed; not investment advice.

Fresh videos from the country's most popular bloggers — the /video section: new releases, channel updates and watching right on the site. Refreshes automatically every 6 hours; viewer comments and our discussion live under each video.

🆘 Emergency services

Your city's emergency numbers on one page: police, ambulance, fire, gas, hotlines. The link is in the footer of every city page; numbers dial in one tap from a phone.

The feedback button at the bottom of pages: write in free form what to improve or what's not working — we read every message.

✨ Astral

Horoscopes, tarot, runes, compatibility, lunar calendar, natal chart, numerology, destiny matrix, biorhythms and Human Design (bodygraph: type, strategy, authority, profile + compatibility, daily transits, penta/family). Enter your birth date once (the «star passport» stays only in your browser) — calculations are deterministic, no sign-up. For an accurate Human Design bodygraph also add your birth time and time zone. The top «Astral» hub bar switches tools on any page of the section.

Your account

Signing in is optional

You can comment, chat and ask questions as a guest — we'll remember you in a cookie. Want a permanent account — register with e-mail and password (the address is confirmed via a link) or sign in with Google/VK in one tap; your whole guest history moves over. Forgot the password — use the «Forgot password?» link on the sign-in page (it also works for accounts created via social login).

• Main menu — customize the sections menu: order items with ↑↓ and hide the ones you don't need with the eye. “Wall” is pinned to the top; new sections appear at the top of the list. Hidden items stay available in the footer.
• Profile photo — upload your photo cropped 1:1; it's optimized (WebP) and stored in our secure CDN.
• First and last name — entered manually or pulled from your social login.
• Birth date and gender — optional; they help in the «People» and «Radar» sections.
• Social logins — link Google and VK to one account and sign in with either. Any link can be removed (except the last one).
• Notifications — fine-tune the bell: which events to send, quiet hours, «do not disturb».

City news on Telegram

The @live_city_bot sends news and events of your cities as direct messages — up to five cities at once. You set the pace: instantly, one list in the morning, weekly or at your own hour; there is a daily limit, quiet hours in your own time zone and muting of topics you don't need. You can also submit your own story there: a photo and a couple of lines, an editor checks and publishes it.

Browser notifications: the city page and every story carry a «News notifications» button — it delivers the important things straight to your phone or desktop, without Telegram and without signing up. At most five a day, with a pause between them and nothing at night: quiet hours 23:00–08:00 in your city's time. The same button turns it off. On iPhone notifications only work if you add the site to the Home screen — an Apple limitation.
